Landing in Rio de Janeiro, I had heard whispers of a small family-run restaurant famous for its feijoada. With a few fellow pilots, we ventured into the heart of the city, drawn by the promise of authentic Brazilian flavors. The restaurant, adorned with local art and filled with the sounds of samba, took us on a culinary journey with each bite. The smoky black bean stew was rich and hearty, embodying the spirit of Brazilian cuisine. This experience taught me that sometimes, the best meals come from places that tell a story of love and tradition.
